Erika Seth Davies doesn’t only work at the intersection of racial equity, women’s health, and capital—she’s the one directing traffic. She’s busy reimagining a world where the money actually flows where it’s needed, flipping the script on how we fund a future of shared health and prosperity for all.

Women in the U.S. are navigating a healthcare system that was never designed for them, so far too many women don’t have access to high-quality care that meets their needs – especially women of color, lower-income women, LGBTQIA+ folks, women with disabilities, and many others. Erika offers the possibility to reimagine and transform how investment and resources flow to women’s health.
The current healthcare system doesn’t benefit everyone to the same degree. Persistent health disparities exact a painful human cost and a drag on the economy. So, what does it actually take to transform policy, practice, and culture toward more equitable outcomes? Erika shares how designing systems for the most marginalized communities is a win for us all.
History shows that hostility escalates toward diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts when social justice and civil rights movements make gains. Organizations and people that do racial equity work are doubling down because they understand what’s at stake. Erika offers inspiration and strategy for finding ways forward in the current social and political climate.
Investment is not neutral – where capital and resources flow inevitably produces consequences for people and communities. As CEO of Rhia Ventures, Erika shares how reimagining how capital flows to women’s health can transform the healthcare market into one that benefits all women – and offers lessons for anyone seeking to align their finances with their value
Businesses often overlook something that’s critical to about half the global workforce: access to comprehensive reproductive and maternal health care. Erika explains the links between access to high-quality reproductive and maternal health care and business performance. By addressing gaps in health care, companies can invest in the well-being of their employees while strengthening the bottom line.
Early in her career, Erika became fascinated by how capital moves and accumulates, and by the gatekeepers making the decisions that shape markets. She realized the financial services industry is often an opaque and relationship-driven space. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Erika breaks down the systems governing how money is invested and deployed, so we can clearly visualize the impacts of these investments and allocate resources to build the future we wish to see.
